Select Education Group (SEG) is a private post-secondary education group. Our mission is to produce employable graduates in select fields of study by providing quality education, expert instruction, consistent communication, support, and discipline in a professional environment.

SEG provides a select catalog of diverse programs that allow graduates to prepare for their career and improve their career advancement potential. The programs include vocational and practical nursing, physical therapy assistant, medical assistant, medical billing and coding, massage therapy, sports and rehabilitation therapy, business administration, healthcare administration, criminal justice, ABA paralegal studies, culinary arts and baking, welding, HVAC, industrial maintenance, barbering, and cosmetology. Our History

Since its founding in 2014, Select Education Group has become the modern-day iteration of more than 36 years of experience, delivering quality educational services to a community of students who represent our present-day workforce and has continued to expand its influence in the postsecondary higher education sector. Beginning with the acquisition of Institute of Technology and then Valley Medical College, Select Education Group plans continued growth through additional curricula and new campuses, the cross-utilization of curricula between separate schools, and the implementation of initiatives to standardize, replicate and leverage successful internal processes. Select Education Group’s most recent acquisition of Fremont University expands our influence into the online graduate studies realm of higher education and in 2021 all SEG colleges began offering hybrid education offerings by blending online and on-ground educational delivery. Select Education Group now owns and operates five colleges in California and Oregon.

Select Education Group is led by President and Chief Executive Officer Rick Wood. He is committed to SEG’s mission to inspire, support, and empower our students through education and career development.
